Prestage Farms is seeking a veterinarian for our Iowa Division based in Ames, Iowa. This position will be responsible for providing veterinary service, support, and care for Prestage farms of Iowa wean to finish operations including but not limited to:


Responsibilities

+ Development and implementation of biosecurity protocols


+ Development of plans to address health issues and concerns


+ Develop and implement vaccine strategies


+ Coordinate and participate in diagnostic sample collection and result summation


+ Maintain prescriptions and VFDs records and compliance


+ Assist with maintaining SHIP requirements


+ Maintain PQA+ advisor certification and perform trainings as necessary


+ Train caretakers on herd...
