Staffing Scheduler - Part Time, Second Shift

Overview


Under the direction of the Staffing Manager, coordinates scheduling of all Home Care Aides/Geriatric Caregivers and Home Care LPNs designated to care for PACE participants to ensure adequate and safe staffing within the confines of established staffing patterns and the Union contract. Responsible for accurate record keeping regarding hours worked, call-ins, absences, etc. and bringing concerns to the attention of the Staffing Manager and Home Care Manager.


Responsibilities


Job duties specific to this position:

+ Schedules Geriatric Care Givers and Home Care LPNs to meet the needs of PACE participants as determined by the care plan/orders.

+ Daily evaluates and adjusts staffing to ensure appropriate participant care as outlined in each individual’s care plan/orders.

+ Works to cover all call-offs of Geriatric Care Givers and Home Care LPNs in a timely manner and reports issues to Staffing Manager.
