Starke Ayres is the foremost African specialist and global supplier of premium vegetable, flower and lawn seed varieties – both for commercial and home garden planting. The following position has become available for a General Worker, based in Rosebank, Cape Town.

Purpose: To provide general support across the Garden Centre through maintenance, nursery care, stock handling, cleaning, and customer service assistance to ensure a well-maintained, safe, and welcoming environment for both staff and customers

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assisting with the watering of plants where required


• Repacking and restocking of stock where required


• Cleans grounds of property and ensures general tidiness of the Garden Centre, sales floor, parking lot, exterior verge and general work areas,


• Ensures cleanliness of guttering and storm water drainage channels,
