Job Description

- Education: College/CEGEP
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
- Heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration engineering technology/technician
- Heating, air conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration maintenance technology/technician
- or equivalent experience
- Complete and maintain station records, logs and reports
- Instruct apprentices
- Assist in the development of operation, maintenance and safety procedures
- Investigate problems to fix or make minor repair
- Monitor and inspect plant equipment and systems to detect equipment malfunctioning and to ensure plant systems are operating normally
- Operate automated or computerized control systems
- Operate equipment in hydro, thermal and nuclear power plants
- Perform routine equipment maintenance
