Job Description
Elevate public health research as a statistical data analyst with the UBC CDC on avian influenza projects. Focus on creating dashboards and conducting statistical analyses in a collaborative environment.
In this role at UBC CDC, you will become an integral part of a team dedicated to analyzing pathogenic avian influenza data. Collaborating with research scientists, you will streamline data integration processes, develop visualization tools, and support the entire project lifecycle from study design to manuscript preparation. Engage in a variety of tasks reflecting the one-health approach, addressing significant health concerns across species.
Key Responsibilities:
• Optimize data integration pipelines for updated datasets
• Document pipeline development using version control
• Clean and manage analytical data input
• Contribute to study design and statistical analyses
• Improve R Shiny/Power BI dashboards for data sharing
