Job Description
The Steam Engineer is responsible for the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of steam boilers and related systems within a power plant. This role involves supervising the operation and maintenance of high‑pressure steam generation equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety and environmental standards.
Job Responsibilities
Operate and monitor high‑pressure steam boilers and related systems in the power plant.
Ensure boilers are running efficiently to meet power generation requirements, while adhering to safety regulations and operating limits.
Monitor boiler controls, fuel consumption, steam pressure, temperature, and water levels to ensure stable operations.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on boilers, turbines, steam piping, and auxiliary equipment to minimize downtime.
