Steam Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

1. Supervise, operate, manage and maintain the steam boiler according to standard operation procedure (SOP) and JKKP standard.
2. Plan for Machineries / facilities PM and JKKP inspection schedule. Maintenance of boilers and associated equipment according to PM program.
3. Troubleshooting as required to minimize downtime. Ensure full compliance to safety procedure, hygiene procedures and 5S execution.
4. Housekeeping of boiler house and its surrounding area as to 5S requirement. Monitor and ensure the boiler’s daily operation log is updated promptly and accurately.
5. Provide relevant report on utility performance and maintenance. Maintenance Records are to be executed as per detailed in SOPs.
6. Maintains good record-keeping and retrieval. Report writing and keeping of log book. Manage and provide support to utility supervisors and technicians on day to day operation.
