Position Overview

The Structural Steel Modeler - SR is responsible for developing accurate and detailed 3D models of structural steel and miscellaneous steel components using SDS2. This senior role supports the Detailing & Engineering Operations department by ensuring all modeled elements and assemblies meet project specifications, fabrication standards, and client requirements. The Senior Modeler provides guidance and training to junior and intermediate team members, checks models and drawings prepared by others, and collaborates closely with Detailers, Checkers, Project Managers, and Engineers to maintain project schedules and quality standards. The position requires advanced understanding of structural steel systems, connection detailing, and industry standards.
