Steel Yard Manager (Squamish)

Job Summary: Triton Automotive and Industrial is a growing, locally owned supplier who considers customer service as the top priority. We are looking to hire an experienced Steel Yard Manager. Triton has served British Columbia and the Sea to Sky corridor’s industrial customers for over 40 years and are known for our dedication to customer service and going the extra mile for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing steel yard team of 3-4 people.
• Ensuring trucks are loaded and unloaded in a timely and safe manner.
• Assigning picks to yard team members and following up to ensure job completion and quality.
• Complete Transportation of Dangerous Goods certification.
• Managing stock levels in the yard including all steel stock as well as the gas dock.
• Overseeing steel inventory counts and working with the management team to do weekly steel stock orders from suppliers.
