Sterile Processing Technologist

Our Client, a Healthcare company, is looking for a Sterile Processing Technologist for their Machias, ME location. Responsibilities:

+ The Central Service Technician is responsible for decontamination, cleaning, processing and sterilization of supplies and equipment dispensed by Central Service.

+ The employee must be conscientious with regard to procedures and capable of accepting pressure assignments, clerical assignments and other duties related to the department.

+ They must maintain a high degree of confidentiality and support the mission, vision, and values of the organization.

+ Sterile processing experience using gas and steam, cleaning, tray assembly, wrapping and processing, specialties including OB-GYN, general surgery, ENT, Orthopedics, podiatry, pain management, and urology.

+ Endoscopy scope cleaning and sterilization.
