**Grand Hyatt Barcelona – Steward**

The Steward is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and proper organization of all china, glassware, silverware, cookware, and kitchen equipment throughout the hotel. This role is a **temporary position** , hired to **cover a leave of absence** , and plays a key part in supporting smooth culinary operations while upholding Grand Hyatt’s hygiene and quality standards.

**Responsibilities**

+ Wash, sanitize, and properly store all dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils.
+ Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, stewarding areas, storage rooms, and banquet support areas according to health regulations.
+ Operate dishwashing equipment safely and effectively.
+ Ensure clean equipment and utensils are organized and readily available.
+ Communicate efficiently with kitchen and service teams.
