Job Summary:

The Steward is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and orderliness of kitchen and dining areas. The role supports food service operations by ensuring proper washing, storage, and handling of kitchen utensils, equipment, and work areas in accordance with company standards and food safety regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, glassware, and kitchen equipment
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, dishwashing area, and storage areas
• Properly segregate and dispose of waste following sanitation guidelines
• Assist in receiving, storing, and organizing kitchen supplies
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
• Support kitchen and service staff as needed during operations
• Report equipment issues or shortages to the supervisor
• Follow company policies, safety procedures, and work schedules
