Role of a Stock Assistant

Receiving deliveries and checking the goods received
Working in the stores department
Sorting and placing materials, parts and components onto racking and shelving in order
Carrying out daily book in and book outs on the system
Regular stock checks
Updating inventory management systems regularly
Preparing paperwork and Dispatching parts from Store
Ensuring that equipment and premises are maintained in a safe and tidy manner
Supporting the Team with ad-hoc tasks as well as to assist other departments from time to time
