Stock Controller

· Issues stock according to approved procedures to minimise wastage and costs

· Conducts and records stock counting / physical inventory counts

· Protects stock against environmental elements and utilises the warehouse efficiently in the storing of stock

· Rotates stock regularly

· Replenishes stock so that there are no shortages on the shelves in order to meet repairs and maintenance requirements

· Identifies and reports on the abuse / misuse of stock

· Reports on broken stock items timeously to facilitate investigations and the possible recovery of funds

· Adheres to the requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Act at the clients' and Afrirent's premises

· Implements effective and hygienic housekeeping activities at all times

· Maintains accurate records of stock issues, receipt issues, purchase requests, warehouse transfers and all stock-related documentation
