Stope Service Truck Operator

Minimum Requirements
Matric certificate or equivalent
A relevant competency certificate
Previously employed in an underground charge-up role
A valid driver's license (code 10)
Medically fit to work underground
Experience, Knowledge & Skills
3 years' experience in production charging, with emulsion
Experience in operating a Normet charmec charging unit
A good understanding and ability to conduct density testing of emulsion
Flexible and willingness to assist with varied tasks and responsibilities
Roles & Responsibilities
Prepping stope blast holes and produce an accurate stope prep plan
Ensure working area is safe for personnel and equipment to perform duties.
Charge Up and fire stope blasts according to blast plan.
Charge up holes, down-holes and development drives.
Use of a variety of explosives and initiating systems, depending on drill pattern, rock type and hole dimension.
