Storage Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Manage SAN zoning and fabric connections.
• Create and manage LUNs across multiple systems.
• Maintain and repair HPE 3PAR and StoreOnce appliances.
• Monitor storage performance and usage.
• Handle backups using OpenView Data Protector.
• Operate tape and virtual library systems.
• Conduct regular disaster recovery drills.
• Support data migrations and hardware upgrades.
• Design scalable and reliable storage solutions.
• Improve existing storage infrastructure.
• Apply patches and firmware upgrades.
• Integrate with enterprise systems.
• Propose and implement new backup strategies (especially using StoreOnce).
• Handle complex technical escalations.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years in enterprise storage environments.
• ITIL Foundation certified.
