Job Description

Role: Storage Solution Architect (Mainframe) – ContractOverview: Our client is seeking a highly experienced Storage Solution Architect to lead the design, support, and optimization of their complex, high-availability storage infrastructure. This role requires deep technical expertise in mainframe storage systems, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to support mission-critical environments.Contract Details:

Location: Canada, Ontario (Remote)

Duration: 6 months (with potential extension)

Start Date: ASAP

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (37.5 hours/week)

Key Responsibilities:

Design, maintain, and optimize mainframe storage systems, including: DASD (Direct Access Storage Devices, Virtual Tape, Automated Tape Libraries (ATL)

Provide Level 4 (L4) storage support across both mainframe and distributed environments.
