Store Room Technician

The Store Room Technician is responsible for handling and administering spare parts stock. This includes receiving goods from suppliers, storing goods in the warehouse, issuing goods to Technicians, performing regular stock counts, and ensuring proper administration.

Responsibilities / Key Activities:

• Receiving spare parts from suppliers
• Escalating to suppliers in case of late delivery
• Labeling spare parts and storing them in an organized and structured manner
• Preparing goods issue of spare parts for preventive maintenance orders based on the MRL list provided by the Maintenance planner
• Issuing spare parts to Technicians for Corrective Maintenance orders
• Handling the return of unused spare parts
• Monitoring and advising on minimum stock levels used as re-order points
• Replenishing pre-expended stock on the shopfloor
