The Strategic Account Leader (SAL) is responsible for driving engagement with customers to increase revenue and profit. This is achieved by owning an in‑depth understanding of the customer, providing solutions tailored to their needs, and achieving sales targets across all product categories. The SAL positions Staples with key executives and decision makers and is expected to lead interactions with customers, internal departments (Customer Service, Sales Operations, Marketing, Digital, etc.), and all levels of the Staples organization to meet customer needs and established targets.
