Strategic Commodity Specialist

Job Description:Job Duties and Responsibilities:Conduct commodity and industry trend analysis to show future trends for the assigned commodities as related to cost drivers, new technologies.Develop and implement approved strategies for assigned commodities that actively search for performance improvement and cost reduction opportunities by understanding customer needs, supply market trends and innovation.Manage the total lifecycle of a supplier contract, including submission to legal, expiration alerts, within the commodities assigned.Conduct and follow up Purchase Price Variance (PPV) activities, budgeting, forecast and actual, and annual price negotiations any other initiatives for assigned commodities.Responsibilities:Excellent people skills, project management skills, good business acumen and a team player.Proactive and result orientedAbility to work in a multi-tasking environment.Fluent English.Strong analytical and leadership skills, able to work under pressure and manage mult...
