Become the Strategic Economic Director for the Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs and drive impactful economic development initiatives for First Nations. Focus on enhancing economic sovereignty and generating investment potential.
As a key leader under the Executive Director’s supervision, you will develop comprehensive strategies that reflect First Nations’ goals and needs. Your role will enable sustainable growth by effectively coordinating with community organizations and government agencies while managing multiple projects seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and assess economic opportunities for First Nations
• Create and monitor economic development plans
• Liaise with industry partners and consultants
• Prepare essential documentation for Grand Chief and Chiefs Committees
• Conduct public presentations to First Nations leadership
Requirements:
• Degree in Economic Development or equivalent experience
• Proven track record in project management
