Strategic Finance Analyst

About the Role

I'm an independent Fractional CFO supporting a select group of high-growth startups. I work directly with founders on fundraising, financial strategy, and decision-making. I'm looking for a high-potential finance professional who wants real exposure to CFO-level thinking and strategic finance work. This is a remote, part-time contractor role. Initially non-client-facing, with potential selective exposure to meetings over time.

What you'll work on

• Financial modeling (runway, fundraising scenarios, valuations)
• Budget vs. actual analysis
• KPI dashboard preparation
• Unit economics and pricing analysis
• Investor reporting support
• Scenario planning
• Market research and benchmarking

What this role is not

• Not a corporate finance ladder
• Not a traditional analyst track inside a large firm
• Not purely operational bookkeeping
