STREAM-EWS Project Officer

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Project Officer will be responsible for supporting the EWS team in the implementation of technical activities related to the STREAM early warning system. S/he will support the Project Lead in planning and implementing technical activities for the project in Mindanao. S/he will provide support in installing and maintaining sensors, coordinating with and supporting officials technically, and preparing and facilitating technical activities in coordination with other team members, support departments, and partners. S/he will support in monitoring the progress of the technical activities.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Project Implementation

2. Provide support in the preparation and implementation of STREAM activities such as training, including preparation and facilitation of these activities.

3. Provide support in on-site installation, testing, and routine maintenance of EWS sensors and IoT devices.
