Structural Engineering Trainee

Hatch is seeking a dynamic Structural Engineering Trainee to join their Engineering Delivery, Structural group, providing engineering services to large and small projects. The role is responsible for the analysis and design of structures for hydropower, dam, and heavy industrial settings. Reporting to the Structural Discipline Lead Engineer, the trainee will support projects globally while working from the Niagara Falls office.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply engineering principles to perform calculations for structural analysis and design of industrial buildings and equipment support structures and foundations.
• Collaborate with senior members of the discipline and other Hatch groups to share results of work.
• Prepare calculation reports and engineering documents for internal and external stakeholders.
