Structural Engineer/s

Ok, so you have managed to get through that vital first job in structural engineering, the introductions, the first projects, asking the awkward questions, learning the CAD stuff. Well done, seriously. Not everybody gets there. We know that.

You are now more valuable.

Why? because the chances are, that you will have lot more idea of what you are looking for than you may have had when stepping out of the university doors. Civil engineering offers a range of very different flavours and if you know what you like, then now is a great time to double-down on this. (Incidentally, if you don't, my advice is to head for the biggest firm you can find - ask me why later). If your favourite thing is a mix of commercial and residential structural design, then ... have I got an opportunity for you!
