Structural Engineer/Technologist

Job Description

A medium sized Consulting company with branches across South Africa is looking for a Structural Engineer/Technologist to join them. This role can be based in Johannesburg or Durban.

Minimum requirements:

•BSc/BEng – Civil engineering degree or BTech Structural engineering degree

• 5 years post qualification building structures design experience preferably in both reinforced concrete and structural steel.

• Software design experience in AutoCAD, Prokon, Revit 3D

• Must be able to interact with clients, contractors, other professionals, attend site meeting and site inspections.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Design of building structures including

o Large retail shopping centre

o Commercial office buildings with deep basements

o High-rise apartment buildings

o Housing township developments and single residential luxury homes
