Structured Trader

RJC have partnered with a leading Swiss-based energy trader who are seeking a Structured Trader with strong experience in European gas and power markets to originate, structure, and execute complex transactions across wholesale energy markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Structure and price complex gas & power transactions (structured products, tolling, PPAs, flex contracts, cross-commodity deals)
• Develop and optimise BESS trading strategies across day-ahead, intraday, balancing and ancillary services markets
• Optimise asset and portfolio value across European markets
• Identify arbitrage and structured opportunities across hubs (TTF, THE, PSV, major power exchanges, etc.)
• Support strategic growth in structured, flexible and cross-border energy markets

Requirements

• 5+ years' experience in European gas and/or power trading
