Student Clinical Extern (Physiotherapy)

Overview

The Physiotherapy Extern works in the capacity of an unregulated health care and under the mentorship of a Clinical Extern Coordinator to provide quality and safe patient care. Clinical Externs work in collaboration with and under direct and/or indirectsupervision of an appointed regulated healthcare professional (RHP).

Under supervision, you’ll perform essential patient care duties, contribute to accurate clinical documentation, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals in a team-based environment. This position allows you to actively support the rehab team while enhancing your clinical skills. Working under direct and/or indirect supervision of a regulated healthcare provider, you'll contribute to safe, quality patient care.
