Student Services Counsellor & ALP Support Position

Support students’ academic and personal growth at NSCC’s Annapolis Valley Campus as a Counsellor. Manage individual counselling cases while promoting wellness initiatives to create a supportive learning environment.
This role is ideal for individuals with a Master’s degree in a related discipline and five years of counselling experience. You will work within an anti-oppressive framework, delivering services both in-person and virtually, helping students through challenges and facilitating wellness programs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide tailored counselling for academic and personal development
• Lead initiatives like the Student Wellness Champion Program
• Collaborate with teams to enhance mental wellness services
• Maintain detailed student records and assess needs
• Partner with agencies to support Adult Learning Program students
