Student Well-Being Summer Wellness Initiatives Temporary Positions

The successful candidate

s will work as part of the Summer Wellness Initiatives at the Halton District School Board. Areas of responsibility for Child and Youth Care Practitioners (CYC-Ps) may include: (4) Intake CYC-Ps to organize referral and intake data, complete informed consent phone calls with parents/guardians, and to assist with organizing group materials (8) Co-facilitating CYC-P led groups (PEERS, You are a Social Detective, Interoception, TRAILS) at Ethel Gardiner (June 29-July 9 only), Alexander’s, Hawthorne Village, and Oodenawi (June 29-July 23 excluding Fridays) and completing intake and informed consent phone calls as needed (4) CYC-Ps to support the Summer Wellness program (Ethel Gardiner, Emily Carr, Alexander’s and Hawthorne Village) - SEL programming/learning in collaboration with the classroom teacher, as well as providing back up support to the CYC-P led groups as required and completing intake and informed consent phone calls as needed *CYC-P...
