Student Wellness Navigation Specialist (Temporary)

Overview

The Student Wellness Navigation Specialist is the front-facing role for Sheridan’s Centres for Student Success. This role provides an integrated intake and triage function for students and other community members seeking supports or services from Student Affairs (SA). Based at each campus Centre, this multi-incumbent position handles: service area specific intakes, eligibility assessments, inquiries regarding service provision, booking appointments, triaging access to services, and providing community consultations on service access and responses to SA programs. The Specialist also acts as a second-tier inquiry service for matters exceeding the complexity or acuity handled by Service Hub, and utilizes training in mental health services/crisis intervention to respond to acute distress or crisis situations and determine escalation needs.
