Studio In-Charge - Prototyping studio

Job Purpose :

To manage and develop prototyping studio at School of Design and enable hands-on learning, experimentation, and innovation for students and faculty. The studio in-charge will support academic programs by ensuring safe, efficient, and industry-relevant use of workshops including metal, wood, ceramic, and plastic studios, along with laser cutting, 3D printing, and paint booth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage operations and maintenance of equipment in all workshops including laser cutting machines, 3D printers, and finishing facilities; maintain documentation related to studio usage, material register. Maintain inventory of tools and consumables; initiate procurement as required. Provide technical guidance to students during prototyping, model-making, and fabrication processes.
