Study Support Advisor

This role involves supporting ākonga on our Marlborough campus who require assistance with their learning or study needs. This includes support on a day-today basis to encourage engagement, providing interventions and referrals on as needed basis, working with external professionals and learner support groups. The interactions may be individual face to face or remote and will include small group sessions where appropriate. This role is 0.6 FTE, fixed until the end of the academic year with the possibility of becoming permanent after this. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing targeted academic support to a wide variety of learners on site including in our foundations programme, viticulture and nursing.

We are looking for someone who understands what is required to succeed at a tertiary level and has confidence and experience working with learners from a diverse range of backgrounds.
