Study Veterinary

1. Veterinary Care and Animal Welfare

• Conduct daily health monitoring of laboratory animals (rats, mice, rabbits, dogs, NHPs, etc.).
• Diagnose and treat illnesses, injuries, and adverse clinical signs.
• Administer anesthetics, analgesics, and other therapeutic agents as per protocol or veterinary judgment.
• Provide guidance on humane endpoints and euthanasia methods.

2. Study-Related Responsibilities

• Participate in study planning, protocol review, and dose formulation review meetings.
• Perform and/or oversee clinical observations, detailed clinical exams, and necropsies.
• Evaluate and interpret clinical signs and correlate them with study data.
• Ensure all veterinary-related observations and treatments are documented in compliance with GLP.

3. Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure adherence to OECD GLP, CPCSEA/IAEC guidelines, and institutional SOPs.
