We are seeking an experienced and passionate Subject Lead – Drama to join a thriving Expressive Arts Faculty in an international school environment. This role supports the Head of Department and plays a key role in driving high standards in Drama education.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop Drama teaching across GCSE / A Level / BTEC Performing Arts
Support curriculum planning, assessment, and moderation within Drama
Monitor teaching quality and student progress
Promote Drama and encourage subject uptake at IGCSE and A Level
Support staff mentoring, collaboration, and professional development
Ensure safe practices in lessons, rehearsals, and performances
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (Education preferred)
Minimum 5 years' teaching experience
Proven experience in BTEC Performing Arts and GCSE/A Level Drama
