We are seeking an experienced and passionate Subject Lead – Geography to support the Head of Department in driving high standards of teaching, learning, and curriculum delivery across the subject.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & People
Support the Head of Department in maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.
Monitor and improve the quality of teaching within Geography.
Support induction and mentoring of new Geography staff.
Contribute actively to department meetings and subject planning.
Gather and respond to student feedback to improve learning outcomes.
Curriculum & Teaching
Maintain and update the Geography curriculum to meet student needs and school policies.
Contribute to curriculum development across the department.
Promote Geography and encourage student uptake at IGCSE and A Level.
Remain up to date with subject developments, pedagogy, and educational research.
