Job Description

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education, Training And Experience

Successful completion of a recognized diploma program in Medical Laboratory Technology. Certification with the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science (CSMLS). Minimum of three years' experience in Immunopathology testing, including one year in a supervisory capacity.

Skills And Abilities

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to deal effectively with and establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, co-workers, medical staff and other hospital staff.
  • Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with associated test procedures and laboratory equipment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the operation of automated Immunopathology testing.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work in order to meet deadlines.
