Substation Design Engineer

We've teamed up with a leading power infrastructure engineering and services firm and they're seeking a Substation Design Engineer to design high-voltage electrical substation systems and deliver high-quality engineering solutions that meet industry standards and client requirements. This role supports utility and energy infrastructure projects from design through construction, with opportunities to serve as a technical lead on complex assignments. Our client offers a robust compensation and benefits package, plus this is a remote role with domestic travel as needed to client sites and field locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design physical layouts and systems for high-voltage substations, including equipment layout, grounding, conduit, and material take-offs.

• Develop construction drawing packages and review contractor submittals.

• Perform quality reviews of engineering work for internal teams and subcontractors.
