About the Position
Pond is seeking a Substation Engineer to join our growing Energy team in Bogotá, Colombia, supporting U.S.-based utility clients.
This role is fully integrated with our U.S. Energy team and requires strong English communication skills, as daily collaboration will occur with U.S.-based engineers, project managers, and utility clients. The selected candidate will support the design and execution of transmission and distribution substation projects in accordance with U.S. codes, standards, and client requirements.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of relevant experience in substation protection and controls design and a solid understanding of U.S. utility standards and practices. This position requires the ability to manage multiple projects, produce high-quality deliverables, and work effectively in a cross-border team environment.
