Substitute Cleaners

+ This position involves manual work, calling for the efficient and economic performance of building cleaning. Cleaning is done according to a well-established routine. Does related work as required.

+ Options for other paid work include but not limited to chaperoning school events, event cleanups and summer work.

+ Ability to join the New York State Local Retirement System.


Job Qualifications


+ Candidates with some knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment; ability to understand and follow simple oral and written directions; ability to get along well with others; ability to read and write; thoroughness; cleanliness; ability to climb ladders, bend, stoop, lift, reach, push, and pull.
