Substitute Teacher



Summary: Teaches students in the absence of the regular classroom instructor throughout the district on a day-to-day basis as assigned.



Qualifications:


+ Current Iowa Teaching Certificate or Substitute License/Authorization

+ Child and Dependent Adult Mandatory Reporter Certificate


Duties and Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned.


+ Reports to work as scheduled on a regular and reliable basis.

+ Teaches district-approved curriculum.

+ Instructs pupils in citizenship and basic subject matter specified in state law and administrative regulations and procedures of the school district in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.

+ Facilitates the lesson plans as prepared by the instructor in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.
