Position Summary

Under the supervision of the Youth Development Program Manager, the SUD Counselor provides substance use disorder (SUD) education and counseling to middle and high school students in Oceanside. Responsibilities include facilitating SUD prevention forums and workshops for parents, caregivers, and community members; conducting substance use screenings; delivering SUD-focused case management and treatment; and coordinating linkages and referrals to appropriate services.
