Summer Camp Combo Role

Camp Hurontario, a long established children’s summer camp spectacularly located in the islands of Georgian Bay, has openings for high school aged students to live and work on our island for the summer of 2026.

This position offers a variety of jobs that the successful candidate can gain experience in while having an amazing summer adventure away from home, living with fun, outdoorsy people their own age.

The four main roles of the job are as follows:

– Intro Camp Counsellor (guiding and caring for our youngest campers aged 5-8)

– Assistant Instructor (choose an activity to assist in from all we have on offer at the camp, from art and crafts to sailing and kayaking)

– Dining Hall Staff (helping set up and clear away meals in our dining hall)

– Special Events Planner (organize special camp events, create props and costumes for plays and skits, and c...
