Summer Student - Finance

Overview

NTPC is looking for a Summer Student to join our Finance team in Hay River. This position offers an opportunity for students pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field to gain practical experience in the Electrical Utility sector. The selected candidate will collaborate with finance professionals and contribute to accounting and financial analysis projects.

Responsibilities

• Enter financial data into the accounting system, ensuring accuracy.
• Assist in monitoring and preparing monthly entries and account reconciliations
• Assist finance team members with Financial Record Management as needed.
• Analyzing and reviewing financial accounts to identify trends, discrepancies and areas for improvement.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
