Sun West Youth Counsellor

Serve as a Child and Youth Counsellor with Sun West School Division, providing crucial support to students. This part-time, permanent position begins on September 1, 2026.

You will provide counselling services to students at Kyle Composite School, Kyle Colony School, and Matador Colony School. This role focuses on collaborating with educators to tackle emotional and behavioral challenges and assist in creating inclusive classroom programming. Engaging with parents and leading workshops will further contribute to the positive environment of the schools you serve.

Key Responsibilities: • Deliver individual and group counselling to students identifying issues • Work alongside teachers to promote student wellness • Help develop tailored programming for affected students • Communicate with parents to support student needs • Conduct workshops for teachers on relevant counselling topics
