Superintendent (Vetting)

OVERALL SUMMARY

The function is to perform day-to-day monitoring and coordination of Ship Inspection Report Programme (SIRE), Chemical Distribution Institute (CDI), RightShip, Port State Control (PSC), Terminal & U.S. Coast Guard Certificate of Conformity (USCG COC) inspections and unannounced external Drug and Alcohol tests of all vessels.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Arrange / coordinate SIRE, CDI, USCG COC, RightShip Inspection Ship Questionnaire (RISQ) inspections and unannounced Drug and Alcohol tests.
• Ensure that all corrective replies relating to observations of SIRE, CDI, RISQ, Terminal and PSC inspections are replied to within the stipulated time.
• Liaise with the Technical and Operation departments for the pre-inspection information to be uploaded on Oil Companies International Marine Forum (OCIMF) SIRE database for the SIRE 2.0 inspections.
