Supermarket material handler

**_MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE_**

Working under the direction of the Supervisor, the Material Coordinator will be responsible for guiding the workflow of materials and assists answering questions from front line workers. This role requires floor presence, strong organizational skills, as well as effective communication and analytical skills.

**_MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES_**

+ Provides front line guidance to the operation to achieve prescribed objectives
+ Teaches and trains new associates on warehouse execution system and forklift or other equipment. Coach and mentor operators and other peers on enhancing their capabilities and increasing productivity. Exhibits strong leadership skills and promote a positive work environment to enhance warehouse operations.
+ Escalates issues to the attention of the Supervisor or Manager and to appropriate support groups as necessary.
+ Cross-trained and acts as SME for operation.
