Job Title: Supervisor, Logistics Job Summary The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and supporting the Logistics Department and collaborating with all other departments to ensure outsourced loads are efficiently assigned and delivered promptly, maintaining a high standard of professionalism and meeting customer expectations. Responsibility 

Supervise, mentor, and support logistics staff to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to procedures.

Forge relationships with carriers and build the existing carrier base.

Establish rate schedules and maintain and monitor compliance items.

Negotiate carrier rates to ensure profitability.

Manage all specialized freight movements (oversize, airfreight, ocean) including coordination of special permits and customs clearances.

Analyze logistics processes and identify opportunities for improvement to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
