**Summary:**

The Special Hematology Laboratory is currently recruiting a Medical Laboratory Supervisor. This position performs a variety of patient testing and administrative tasks in support of the clinical activities in the UNCHCS. This supervisor will oversee and assist with bone marrow collections, as well as complex specialty testing such as Hemoglobin/Thalassemia Profile by HPLC and G6PD testing. They also work closely with clinical teams, hematopathologists, and Core Laboratory teammates. The candidate must possess a thorough understanding of laboratory operations and must be knowledgeable of accreditation standards and government regulations.
