Supervisor Production

Position Summary

A Value Stream Leader or Production Supervisor will be responsible for the overall safety, health, environment, quality, service, cost productivity, and employee morale of the assigned department. The Production Supervisor serves as a liaison to management on manufacturing, quality, process, and engineering related issues. The role includes supervising and coordinating the activities of production and operating workers such as inspectors, assemblers, fabricators, machine, tool setters, test and other plant and system operators. A successful Supervisor can anticipate and adapt to change and make the required adjustments to schedules. The Supervisor promotes two‑way communication, fosters an organization culture and values, assesses operators’ performance and develops them, and seeks continuous improvement in their work area.
